Background - Per Stirpes is a legal term which means “by roots” or “by branch”. When stated within a will or estate any amount that you leave for a beneficiary that dies before you will be passed down evenly to their own heirs, usually children or grand children. Spouses are typically excluded because they are not direct descendants of the beneficiary.
Scope - APS wanted a fun way to drive interest around the term when meeting with clients and potential clients at open house or other events. I created a set of icons that were used on stickers and other marketing materials.
